Survival Guide - 2019


Below is information you'll need now that you have arrived in San Diego and are ready to play.


-- DRESS CODE


For both singles and doubles matches, all players are required to wear tennis attire that is consistent with being a participant in a USTA National Championship.The only t-shirt allowed is the official tournamentt-shirt. Compression shorts may ONLY be worn during practice sessions. Players not meeting dress code may be asked to change prior to going on the court

-- RACQUET STRINGING

Racquet stringing is available at the Barnes Tennis Center with

Jason Wood and staff. Cost is $20 (cash) for stringing labor. 


​-- LOCKER ROOM

Showers are available in the locker room. 


​​-- TRAINERS

There will be two fully certified trainers at Barnes Tennis Center from one hour before first matches until conclusion of last match. A fully certified trainer will also be at the Balboa and SDSU sites.


-- PARKING AT SAN DIEGO STATE

     Be sure to read about parking at SDSU. They will ticket you if you have not paid to park in a valid space. Click here.
